Here is the Mighty Bronco with grace and beauty
yet wild and unruly.
When many are contempt to be ruled by somebody
The bronco would rather follow his own path for it is true
His mind is not for rent to any idol or idea.
no matter what somebody is selling.
Others have tried to ride him and others have failed
for the bronco goes by his own true will.
One day the Devil comes to him that he will ride him.
With his stell spur he will refer to him as master or sir.
The Bronco says to him.
“Many have tried and many have failed,
what makes think that you are so special.”
The Devil replies.
“I’ve heard that before, but soon you will bow before me.”
The Bronco says you will try soon you will see
who’s will be broken and who remains intact.
The battle is on like angels and demons meet head-to-head.
The bronco and devil wage in a battle for his soul.
The Devil gets on his back.
The Bronco fights him off as he tries and tries.
And finally like the crack of thunder The Broncos gets the Devil off his back.
The Devil crashes to the ground and pounds his fist in frustration.
The Bronco gives a whine in victory and snorts the Devil in the ground.
The Devils says the he will be back to battle again.
The Broncos says.
“You just come on back if you want to try again. I told you once
and I’ll told you once and tell you again that no one will ride me ever.”
Some will be tamed and accept life for what it is.
But someone’s will can’t be broken like the Mighty Bronco.
